It’s so weird how, as we get older, our tastes change. I NEVER liked spicy food. Everything was mild. All of a sudden, in my 30′s, I have fallen deeply in love with cayenne pepper. I realized this the other day when my husband took our only jar to work after forgetting to put it on his sandwich. (I guess somebody else is obsessed, too.) All of my food that day tasted naked!!! My toast with tomato and avocado? NAKED without cayenne pepper! My quinoa noodles with white beans for lunch? Completely naked! I think I’ll get myself a second jar just in case this ever happens again. God forbid.
