Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat Pray Love… It’s as good as they say it is. This empowering and inspirational story of one woman’s journey to 3 different countries in search of herself, love, happiness, peace, God… is a must read! Happy Fashion Friday!!! Eat Pray Love starring Julia Roberts, James Franco, Javier Bardem, Richard Jenkins and Billy Crudup opens in theaters today and I thought it would be fitting to feature the worldly Eastern style portrayed in this film. Cost Plus World Market has partnered with the movie to celebrate this secular style! World Market has a great deal of their merchandise imported from other countries, coincidentally including Italy, India and Indonesia. It seemed quite harmonious for them to team up with this amazing book turned film. I wandered into the interesting retailer last night to see what they had come up with. They only had a few displays featuring the Eat Pray Love theme, including journals, stationary sets, fabrics, Buddha statues with tiny tea light holders, yoga bags… But as I continued to look around, I noticed that their jewelry, scarves, beautiful caftan dresses, delicate sandals, multicolored bags and coin purses, etc., had a definite Indian/Indonesian vibe. And then, taking a walk through the dining section was like taking a walk through Italy! It all felt very Eat Pray Love!
Fresh has also joined in the Eat Pray Love party! They have come out with a fragrance line honoring the upcoming film. “Eat” is said to have a sweet scent of fresh lemons, creamy desserts and rich wines. “Pray” is a more earthy fragrance with notes of jasmine, patchouli and juniper berry, and “Love” has a passionate, exotic aroma with bergamot, red currant and sandalwood. The collection also includes a candle trio.
You can also lovely up your lips with these Lancome juicy tubes lip glosses available on the Home Shopping Network that are inspired by the book. Check out HSN.com to see all of these pampering products!
I am definitely going to try and check out the movie this weekend! Anyone else planning on seeing it? If so, I hope that you enjoy it and that it is as amazing as the book! OMG OBSESSED!
